Habitat for Humanity (HFH) is a non-profit organization, based on Christian principles, which works on more than 90 countries worldwide. Since its inception, it has built more than 350,000 houses.

Founded in 1976 by Linda and Millard Fuller in the United States, Habitat for Humanity is aimed not only at building houses, but also at developing sensitive and receptive communities to the housing issues of its members.

These communities shall be able to jointly create long-term solutions. The organization is aimed at raising awareness on such a serious and vital problem as inadequate housing and aims towards obtaining the participation of people who have a need of housing as well as those who do not.

Habitat for Humanity Argentina is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) from Argentina set up as a Civil Association.

It signs an Agreement Memorandum and an Agreement with Habitat for Humanity International on an annual basis. Those agreements set the framework for the implementation of the program under the trademark of the international organization, which sets forth standards of excellence and supports the national program through the transfer of donations.
