The Global Village program is one that receives foreign volunteers. Volunteers and families have the chance to experience a cultural exchange in which celebrating differences and recognizing similarities is learned, and this helps to bring a different perspective of what our world is today.
Some families try to learn other languages in order to improve their contact with foreign volunteers. And some volunteers decide to change their life completely as a result of the experience they lived
Each participant, besides working in the construction of homes for partner families and thus contributing towards a significant reduction of the cost of each house, is also able to interact with the families, builders, volunteers and local office staff, achieving in this way the final objective of the program: to build a true "Global Village" of love and hope, in homes and communities!
Each group is accompanied by a Team Leader, whose function is to be with the team at all times during their stay in the country. The Team Leaders helps foreign volunteers in their interaction with HPHA families, builders and local staff.
